at a variety of different state correctional facilities in Western Washington. Per Diem, 3 10's, 4 10's or 5 8's are
available. Job duties include but are not limited to intake physicals, sick call and general health consultations for
diabetes, high blood pressure, etc. The environment is typically low-key and fairly relaxed. The position pays up to

The Neuroscience Institute at Swedish Medical Center is currently seeking an ARNP!
The Neuroscience Institute at Swedish Medical Center (Seattle, WA) has an exciting opportunity for an ARNP to join the Physician, ARNP, PA and nurse specialists as a member of the award winning, comprehensive Stroke Team. This excellent opportunity resides in the vibrant city of Seattle in the beautiful Pacific Northwest, and takes place in an exciting state-of-the-art clinical environment.
This ARNP is to participate in a rapidly growing Stroke Program that provides hospital-based clinical care (consultation and management) for 2 inpatient campuses and telemedicine/telephone support for 2 additional satellite emergency departments. In addition to clinical consultant responsibilities, as a member of this Team, the ARNP will be responsible for participating in a 7-day per week coverage and on-call stroke program, with additional interests in data and quality improvement activities, development and implementation of new protocols, participation in an outpatient stroke clinic, and staff and community education for stroke.
The successful candidate will have a current Washington state ARNP/RN license. Must hold a current DEA number (or ability to achieve within 90 days of hire). Minimum one-year inpatient or stroke experience preferred.

- We now have an additional 2.9 RCP ARNP FTEs open to hire into (along with the 1.5 FTE from Puyallup and North wound care).
- The 2.9 FTE includes: 2.4 FTE for direct pt visits, and a .5 FTE for ARNP office triages and telephone screening. (plus one full time admin. support!)

- ARNP will provide:
- Effective quality of care for seniors with multiple chronic medical conditions currently underserved in primary care.
- Services will include:
- Comprehensive evaluation and ongoing follow-up visits to identified at-risk patients in their place of residence.
- Chronic illness management, caregiver education, coordination of care, and end of life issues. The RCP ARNP
will coordinate care with PCPs, social work, home health or hospice services, and complex case management.
- Place of service:
- Adult family homes, assisted living facilities, and private homes.
- Populations:
- Outreach patients: patients with previously coded chronic illness, and frail, elderly patients who reside at home or in adult family
homes, some dementia or Level 3 assisted living facilities (providing 24 hour nursing care).
