Membership Meeting
We are pleased to announce the venue of our February, bimonthly membership meeting. Please read the following information and then RSVP if interested in attending. Our topic is "Understanding and Resolving Irritable Bowel Syndrome" by Dr Stephen Wangen. He is the founder of the IBS Treatment Center in Seattle.
1. The February meeting is being held at Salty's at Alki. There will be a No Host Bar, and we must limit the number of attendees to 50. There is plenty of parking. To RSVP, please reply to this invitation ASAP to save your spot. All RSVP's over the number of 50 will be held on a wait list. It is therefore very important to cancel your reservation as far in advance of the meeting as possible to allow another colleague to attend. No names will be added to the wait list after Feb 11th deadline to respond. You will see my phone numbers on the flyer if last minute problems arise. This worked very well for our December meeting. Do not hesitate to call me if need be.
2. February begins a new membership year. Dues are $40.00 for active members, $20.00 for students and retirees. Please print the attached membership application, fill it out and either bring it to the meeting with a check or exact change, or mail it to Treasurer Linda Shin. Her address is on the application. If you mail the application AND attend the meeting please mail the application well in advance so that we have a record of your having paid. Completing this paperwork and sending your check early is appreciated as it will expedite the sign in process at the meeting. The lower portion of the application is your receipt.
